The result of our partnership with award-winning electronic publisher Alexander Street Press, this new online collection gathers together for the first time all of the superb documentary films in the Filmakers catalog on a single cross-searchable streaming platform. Encompassing more than 1,000 films at launch and with new titles being added all the time, this multidisciplinary collection will include documentaries that present points of view and historical and current experiences from diverse cultures and traditions worldwide. Filmakers Library Online will be available as a subscription or one-time purchase to libraries and educational institutions, and soon it will also be possible to purchase streaming rights to individual titles within the Filmakers Library Online collection. Our new partnership with Alexander Street Press ensures that the Filmakers Library collection will be exposed to a wider audience than ever before—now faculty and students will be able to access these films wherever they are, whenever they want.
